About Me


Dr. Mona Qahwash brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for neurological care to the Remedy team. Originally from Michigan, she earned both her undergraduate degree in zoology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. Driven to further specialize, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, followed by a focused neurology and neurosurgery internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta. She then went on to complete her residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, finishing in 2017.

Dr. Qahwash is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology) and is especially interested in complex brain and spinal disorders, surgical interventions, and improving quality of life for pets with chronic neurologic conditions.
